All weddings are beautiful, but fusion weddings are always guaranteed to be unique and fun, like Lionel and Cecily’s wedding at Omni Orlando Resort. We’ve done many weddings in the past and will do many more in the future, but this one was one of the most striking we’ve ever had the pleasure of being involved in. Surely, that’s all due to ShivPriya Event Management Planning and Coordinating’s efforts.
Ais Portraits did a marvelous job capturing the whole day, from start to finish. The breathtaking affair began with a classic white ceremony. Cecily made the perfect bride in a beautiful white dress and hennaed hands, and Lionel looked just as handsome in his suit. Cecily’s bridesmaids were decked out in purple sarees, providing an effortless pop of color at the ceremony and hinting at what was to come.
After the couple exchanged their I Do’s and posed for photos, it was time to party. To pay homage to Cecily’s Indian heritage, the couple opted for a Bollywood-inspired reception. Cecily looked amazing in a pink and gold saree, accessorizing simply but beautifully with some bangles and a traditional headpiece. Lionel, on the other hand, looked the part of a Bollywood hero in a cream-colored sherwani and red jodhpurs.
Every part of the reception was amazing, from the delicious food from Aashirwad to the purple sparkly décor. But, not to toot our own horn, we’d have to say the star of the show was the cake. We couldn’t be prouder of our sugar artists for this one. The six-tier confection just screamed majestic. The touches of blue and gold added just the right amount of color and elegance and the henna-inspired designs on each tier were intricate and detailed. Topped with flowers from Suhaag Garden, it was, quite simply, a cake no one will ever forget.
Congratulations, Lionel and Cecily! We loved every moment of your wedding, and wish you all the best for your future together!
